South Australia is one of the very few geographical locations in Australia where, given ageing conditions, any rum you have will experience a notably decreasing ABV when aged in the tropics compared to elsewhere. The climate sees 40 degrees Celsius in summer driven by warm breezes in winter — a variable yet dry humidity that creates a rum drop keg climate unlike anywhere else on earth.
